Please join us in welcoming Ms. Janice Barringer to the staff of our studio. Ms. Barringer and her husband will be moving here from New York City this winter and she will begin teaching at the studio in January. We are honored to have her as an instructor and for those of you who do not know, Ms. Barringer is highly respected in the dance community world wide. She is the published author of every ballet dancers guide to pointe shoes and pointe training, The Pointe Book, published by Princeton Book Co., which will be released in it's third edition in February. Janice has also written numerous articles for Dance Teacher, Dance Spirit, Dancer, Dance & Pointe magazines. Ms. Barringer has taught for Harkness House. Ballet Hispanico, Steps on Broadway, the Ailey School & Pace University.
